Painted walls

Love this color combo; I know we don't have much exposed brickwork, but painting some of the dark wood on the walls might be an option.

Breaking up blank walls

What about using reclaimed metal panels to break up blank wall space, especially higher up? Just thinking.

tap handles/back splash ideas

I know this is sort of "the cart before the horse" but I'm just collecting cool ideas and photos in one place at this point.

Love these simple wooden handles and marble back splash. Hate the mirror. Tørst bar in Brooklyn.

Reclaimed wood and subway tile.. very cool. This is Bier-Station in Kansas City; they have coolers and offer on and off premise; similar to what we are thinking, and they are rated one of the best beer bars in the US.

Table seating option #1

Copies of (very expensive) Tolix stools. Available on Overstock and Amazon... they are on sale on Overstock for $99 a pair today. Great reviews, rated at 250lbs. A consideration for table seating. I'd like something in a similar "Industrial" vein for bar seating, but with backs if possible.

Shuffleboard table

This thing is massive, but the price is great. As we discovered yesterday, the only way it could work in this space is positioned parallel to the front, so it's still a "maybe"
